I don't wanna slide...

Ignoring the fact that I can't get my kia (don't laugh) into gear (i'm just gonna cut holes in the floor board), I took a corner yesterday and wound up sitting in the passenger seat. I was wondering If someone could tell me if this: http://www.kia-fx.com/suspension/swaybar.htm would actually do any good?

Also, I was wanting to get slightly larger and wider tires than the stock, i'm not too concerned about power, just want to not slide around in the rain. Any ideas on how i can know the max size that will not bump the inside of the wheel well on full turn? I have no idea how to begin a search on that...

Make: Kia
Model: Spectra GSx
Year: 2000

Re: I don't wanna slide...

that sway bar will make the car roll less in turns.

For maximum perfomance on that car I'd probably go with some 16x7's with 205/45/16's. I'd probably go with yokohama ES100's since they're a good compromise of price and performance in that size, or Hankook K104's which are a little cheaper and you get to keep the all-korean thing going
