flasher problem?

My turn signals don't work! The lights in the front come on but don't blink...but the rear lights don't come on at all. All that works is the headlamps and the brake lights. Is it the flasher's? I've checked the fuses in the car and they're all good...the combination stick that controls the signals, wipers, and all that is brand new. So what's wrong? How do I fix it? or should I just take it in?

There is a special fuse on the fuse box in most cars that controls this. The electronic flasher. In the book I have they say it is mounted above the fuse box under the dash. It is a square block. If you have a blown bulb, and remember that some bulbs have two elements and may seem to work but don't on both elements, it could cause your turn signals not to work. I however would lean toward the electronic flasher (turn signal/hazzard flasher unit) as most hazzard lights will work even if there is a blown bulb.
