Re: SRT-4 Boost Gauge

the srt boost gauges are notorious for being slightly off. i have already replaced mine! if that isnt the issue, and your sure the gauge is reading correctly, you will need to check for boost leaks. YES THEY ARE THERE!!! do a search on the srtforums.com for boost leaks. be sure to tighten the IC piping clamps, and check for any other signs of leaking. that should correct it

Re: SRT-4 Boost Gauge

its also winter time, so boost levels will be low. 12-15psi, without an aftermarket wastegate actuator is about normal. even if your using the stage 2 wastegate. if you run the agp or similar setup, you will be able to adjust boost a little better, maybe bump it up to 15-17psi. you can also run a boost controller and get some more out of it. but on a stage2 only system that sounds about normal

Re: SRT-4 Boost Gauge

No it's not a boost leak i checked that when i put the new intercooler on last week. I normaly push about 18-19 psi the thing is i pulled my gauge out of the eclipse and its reads right. the srt gauge is reading -28 at idle that is not normal. you can hear it spooling and feel the boost when the gauge is at -10. then its slowly goes to about +12-13
