daytona 500 (bring back the T-Bird)
today is the daytona 500.chevy brought back the monte.dodge bought back the charger.WHO THINK FORD SHOULD BRING BACK THE THUNDERBIRD.For too long ford is racing the taurus.are they kidding me who races a taurus.I mean come on even the name is slow.

I don't know but ford isn't making the taurus anymore or coming up soon so they've got to use something.

whatever they decide to use, remember, its going to be a four-door vehicle.(NASCAR rules on body design)..the new Tbirds are not four door..at least I believe this be a fact, dont "quote me on it..lol

montes are 2 door, and they used to have thunderbirds before, did they change the rules? Is that why they arent using the thunderbird now? Or is it that the nascar version has to be based on the production car of that year? I wish Ford would just bring back the MN 12. I think they would have to do that before re entering the bird in nascar. But sadly, we all know that will never happen.

nascars rules state the car has to be a production car in the the last 3 years thats why some teams in the start of the 98' season still ran the t-bird.til they noticed the tuarus areo advantege. And nascars min wheelbase is 110 inchs so the pic of car does not matter."theres nothing stock about a stock car",just that they look somewhat like the car there racing.two examples this year their asking all the dodge drivers hows the new charger.and they replyed its the same as the old one just looks alittle different and has the charger name on it.#2 the truck racing' none of those trucks have the correct dementions for what a full size pic-up is sopose to be there even smaller then mid-size pic-ups
what im getting to is i dont think the new design t-bird isnt going to be around much longer. so the the redesign should have a more muscle look to it and ford should design it for nascar.the tuarus is gone they gotta do something if its not the thunderbird how about the torino or talladaga. besides ford need more muscle other than the mustang .give me some mid-size muscle w/rearwheel drive p.s the new 500 dont cont i dont like it.its to european looking.but sucky enogh thats probably the next face we will see in nascar.if ford does it they will just disapoint me again.but thats why i wont buy a new ford other than a truck and i guess you can tell im not a mustang guy allthow they are real nice.
