Metro Motor Lifespan

I have around 107k on my '94 Metro 1.0L motor. I'd like to get a lot more life out of it. What is the typical lifespan of the 3 cylinder Suzuki motors if proper maintenance is done? Is 200K possible?

There are people out there with 370 000 miles on their metro and it's still running fine so with proper maintenance you could do as much =P

Re: Metro Motor Lifespan

Yeah I tossed a valve at 140 on both of mine, but they were used when I got them, so I don't know maint. history.Ihad the head redone for about $100 and it runs great.I dont know what could have been done to keep the valve from burning tho-
