Good auto repair shop in Tucson??
Hi folks,
Does anyone here know of any good toyota mechanics in Tucson? I need to get my rear brake shoes replaced on my 96 Tercel and can't afford a dealer. Thanks! Kart

Try Mercer Motor Service ... they specialize in Toyota repair. It's a small, out of the way little shop but I'd rather go somewhere like than to a dealer....anyway....
They did some work on my 87 Tercel....did quality work and worked with me on the price since I didn't want to spend a lot of money on such an old car. The car had a severely corroded postive battery cable. They re-wired the cable for less than a hundred and fifty bucks since I couldn't afford to pay the dealer over 500 bucks for the wiring harness and labor to install it. They also replaced the front struts for a very reasonable price. Overall, I was satisfied and will take it back to them for future repairs. Mercer Motor Service 696-9292
