Shop manuals--where to get them?
How does one get ahold of the shop manual for ones auto--Specifically 93 Ford Escort 1.9 5 speed manual transmission--manual.

You can do a web search on Google at the top of this page. books4cars.com is one of the websites. I don't know if they have a shop manual specifically on the transmission, but it is usually covered in the Ford Shop manual.

AutoZone has Haynes manuals, and sometimes Chiltons. Unless you're looking for extremely detailed manuals that cover every little itsy bitsy problem, these works pretty damned good.
