Moved to the proper forum.

The socialists of California have driven themselves into bankruptsy. They're just digging the hole a little deeper.

^ ^ LoL Amen Brother!

I think when she's been talking about "Canadian Garbage" that's being imported into our state, she's secretly referring to herself. Lol

Re: New smog legislation....

Its far from over in the future we will have sensors on the highways that will scan your car and send you a letter in the mail when your car exceeds emissions levels. I have read this in one of the auto journals I get.

Re: New smog legislation....

Wow I remember when "...the IMRC was a proponent of AB 2683, which requires 1976 and later model-year vehicles to be emissions tested for the rest of their driving lives instead of becoming exempt when they reach 30 years of age."
I actually wrote them from my state, telling them that this was a stupid idea that would be nothing but a waste of time and money offering no solution to the problem, and only creating a hassle to owners for no reason. I HATE California (I'm just glad I don't live there).

Re: New smog legislation....

While this particular law may seem bad and is, other states have smog inspections every year instead of every 2. An there's still a bunch of states with their hokey "safety" inspections which are usually jokes and rob you of yet more money.

I have to almost say there ain't no decent average cars newer than 1976 for sure. From 75 to about 92 cars were crap. The whole smog thing is a big pain where ever you are at.

But I can be cruising in the So. Cal. sun, in the heart of car culture, when everybody east of the Rockies is freezing their asses and shoveling it!
