New to AF

Hi - just doing what is suggested..introducing myself. I know virtually nothing about cars, but know enough to type in a question to Ask Jeeves which brought me here! My car has been quitting on me when I stop. But, it doesn't happen until my engine has warmed. I just had the car tuned up with a new fuel filter, plugs and wires, etc. I thought maybe it was water in my gas...I bought some fuel injector cleaner and put it in the gas tank and I still have the same problem. I wanted to sound a little like I knew what I was talking about before going to a mechanic. You see, I have this problem that I always feel like I am being taken advantage of because I'm a woman. I know......Well, I made my mind up long ago with my last Mazda, that I would shed no more tears over a car....time to buy a new one when things start going wrong. But, I have relatively low miles on my car (approximately 75K) so I will forge ahead and see what's wrong. Anyway, I'm really glad I found this site and I'm sure it will be very helpful to me whenever I need advice. Thank you.

Welcome to AF! The best thing to do would be to find the respective forum for your make and model vehicle, and then post your question about what it is doing. You might even find some answers in some of the threads already posted. Good luck!
