electric fan again

I replced the relay behind the bumper, (not a fun job) but the fan still does not work right. it will not turn on when the temp goes up, but if I give the fan a push with a stick it turns on and runs fine.
any ideas?

IF THE FAN TURNS ON IF YOU MOVE IT, THEN THE FAN ASSEMBLY ITSELF IS BAD. IT PROBABLY HAS A FLAT SPOT ON ARMATURE OF MOTOR. YOU'LL HAVE TO REPLACE THE FAN IT SELF. HOPE THIS HELPS DALE
