95 Eldorado strut noise?

I have a 95 Eldorado that is slowly developing a noise located at the right front of the car. Sounds like metal to metal while traveling on a rough surface, such as gravel. I have checked the rubber bushings, all good. I have checked the subframe mounts and they are all tight. The noise could be coming from high in the strut tower. Has anyone experienced this type of noise and could it be a hidden rubber bushing beneath the strut tower top strut shaft mount? It's about to drive me crazy! Girlfriend doesn't mind....she just turns up the stereo!
Thanks, Curtis
