I am looking to buy some new sport bar covers for my TJ. I've found a set by Bestop and a set by Smittybuilt. Thing is the Bestop covers are $50.00 higher than the Smittybuilt covers. Are Bestop tops higher quality items? What would warrant the $50.00 price difference for the same item?

Re: Sport Bar covers
How about ordering both of them, and returning the set you don't like?
Both makers have good products, just find the one you like.

Re: Re: Sport Bar covers
Actually thats a good idea. I was going to do that but then it occured to me that it would cost postage x 3. The postage for the initial 2 purchases plus the postage to return the one I didnt want.
I'm leaning towards the Smittybuilt set simply because of the price, but I didnt want to buy them just to find out after I received them that they are the equivalent of dyed burlap. |

Re: Sport Bar covers
Yeah, postage could be high. You could also go down to one of your local "Truckin' Thunder" or whatever stores, they're likely to have the same product.
