Hi guys, Last Month While parked at A local Hockey game My truck was Bumped into by an anonymous prick.
It left a slight crease in the Chrome bumper right beside the License plate. I try my hardest to keep my truck scratch and dent free, so of course I want to replace the bumper... I got a price of $380 for a replacement bumper from the dealer.. I found a reproduction on-line for $130 but my friend at the body shop told me that the chrome will pit and look like shit in less than a yr. I decided to go with a Urethane Cover (Generation IV SS) with the Valance. It will have new cutouts for the fog lights and my buddy can paint it for pennies. My question is.. Has anyone added a cover to their truck? How do you like it?? Here in MA its required to have a Front plate on your vehicle.. I noticed that the covers don't have any pre-drilled holes for mounting one... If anyone has any info on these covers or advice let me know.. I wanted to know if there are any special techniques to mounting them and drilling for the plate. Thanks in Advance! -Jimmy
