Road Boy RAINBOW fog lights, what are they?

I saw some RAINBOW fog lights and I am wondering why are they called rainbow? I heard that they turn different colors, I am thinking of getting some for a cheap price, but if it is different colors then forget it. And another thing, I have a 97 4Runner, so should I mount them on the bottom or in between the valance?

If they are small and round, put them in the factory position. There is probably already wiring in place for them. If they are rectangular, you have alot of choices.

Factory lights are around $200-$250 for parts. Installation takes 1-1.5 hours.

Well, I ended up mounting them on the radiator frame. I have had them there for about 6 months and they are still holding up strong. You can see them lit up here: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/252927

blazzingbrandon, how much does Toyota motor co pay you for all their advertising? Or would be curious as to the sponsorship agreement you have with them, discounted parts, advantages, specials for promoting their products?
Thanks

Re: Road Boy RAINBOW fog lights, what are they?

I don't get anything. I'm just proud of my Toyota. Nobody has a 4Runner like I do, well not around me anyway, so I might as well show it off. I wish Toyota would pay me for advertising or give me discounts on stuff. I guess they don't give discounts to kids like me (i'm only 16.) Oh well, at least I have the best car on the block, and they know its a Toyota.

Cool Dude!
You do have one nice Toyota.
No it aint because your a kid they don’t give away anything.
Nice work!
Check out these lights, they may actually be TOO bright!
Wagner 4049 Spot Flood. True 400,000 CP. They are 20% brighter than Air Craft landing lights.
Be WARNED they are illegal and dangerous to other drivers if used on the road.
Road signs reflect so bright you can't see the road, seriously.
