Fast Chime When Interior Lights On

I have a 83' Delta-88 Royale. Every so often when the dash lights are on and the exterior lights are on a fast chime noise will come on. I can usually play with the seatbelt and it will shutoff but will come back on by the end of the trip. I have tried disconnecting the plug next to the seat belt and placing a wire on the contacts with no success and I am hesitant of cutting the wires due to the lack of slack. I have searched everywhere with no luck. I have tested the alternator and battery in case it might be a power issue. The ground wire has been replaces. It comes on when my car has gas and when it is low. Any help will be appreciated.
