Master window switch?

I am having probs raising my rear driver side window and passenger side as well. I know it is the master switch cause the windows open and close fine when I use their switch. I have taken it apart and sprayed air into the cracks in the hopes of cleaning the contacts out, no luck. I need a part #. Any one know where I can find a master window switch at a reasonable price?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Master window switch?

What year is the vehicle? I purchased a master switch for my Venture at buyoemparts.com (formerly buygmparts.com), I got a great deal on the switch, over $25 off the price my local dealers quoted me for the same part. The shipping wasn't bad either. There are a few other sites out there also: www.parts.com AC-direct.com and www.rockauto.com

I have a 02 3.8 Impala. Do you remember the part number was or how it is listed?

Re: Master window switch?

When you go to these GM dealer sites, you will see an interactive online catalog. It will ask you various questions such as year, make , model. Then you are sent to a directory for your particular model. If I remember correctly you click on "electrical" then a sub group appears and I think your choices are engine or body. I think the master switch is located under the "body" tab. From there you will see your choices and what you need is the driver's side switch. If you should click on the wrong tab, just hit your back button to get back to the screen where you feel you made your mistake and continue on. If you have trouble using the site , there is customer support with instant messenger, phone number, or email.
