Electric Fan

I am adapting the 16" electirc fan from a Taurus to another Ford. It has three wires coming the fan. Does anyone know what each wire is for. I figured at least two of them are the positive/negitive, but what about the third?

Re: Electric Fan

one would be 12V+, one would be ground, and one would be the control. Instead of power only flowing to the fan when its on, power always flows to the fan and the motor is only active when the control wire is live.

Hey, thanks for the info.

I plan on hooking one of these things up to it. Have you heard anything about these?
