intake manifold quick fix?

'98 SE w/3.8L and the usual upper intake slight external coolant leak under the throttle body assembly. it's too durn cold in PA this time of year to rip out and replace the manifold in my driveway. Anyone ever try Alumaseal or similar "stop leak" type product to deal with this? Not looking for permanent cure, just to stop the smell-causing seepage until things warm-up enough to do this in shirt sleeves.

Re: intake manifold quick fix?

I'd stay away from additives. Possibly do more harm than good. Just my two-cents but you may get some different opinions.

I know about those PA winters. Grew up in Pittsburgh.
