cavalier brake lights not working

my brake lights on rear are working intermently----window brake light works all the time-----i try to check them and they just start working-----but messing with wiring or sockets doesn't make them work they just work when they want to------i'm thinking that maybe the flasher has somehting to do with it cause when i use my turn signals it seems to make brake lights work-----and flasher seems to big for just trun signals -----just wandering if anybody has any ideas.

this forum is really only for introductions and things of that sort.. im sure they can help you over in the cavalier forum..

*otherwise, it sounds like a bad connection somewhere.. could be a bad gorund if it works only every now and again, had a similar problem with my headlights on my old Geo and the ground was bad..

i remember being a newbie.. i didnt know about anything.. it took me 3 months to learn how to put up pics, like 6 before i figured out the smilies.. i just figure it'd be nice to help out. But if its a problem.. ill leave...

I fully appreciate your willingness to help, it's great that you want to, we just don't encourage trouble-shooting in this particular forum, hence the big red IMPORTANT thread which mentions it at the top of the forum.

I didn't mean to offend but I hope you'll understand where I am coming from.
