Re: Professor Churchill

I'm not trying to insult you. It's just that I am constantly amazed that seemingly intelligent people continue to insist that two plus two equals five. Of course, naturally, the right would use the same arguement in this case so...where does that leave us? When the facts are blurred let common sense and rational, independent thought rule.

And show a little respect for Boston. You must be one of those bitter Pennsylvania football fans

How can we show respect for an area that keeps electing Kennedy

Re: Professor Churchill

That's actually the most sensible retort I've recieved yet. One I can't possibly argue against.

Considering how much all petrolium products are costing me at the moment, and the fact that the US premium on control is steadily being decreased with no help from the war I would have to dissagree with you about it being for the benefit of the US. I will agree with you however that the war is no longer about getting rid of the terrorists, its more about stabalizing Iraq so we can get the hell out.

Considering how much Im charged at the pump you can hardly say we're getting more for less.I agree with you on the stabalizing side of it however, because its not like we cn just leave Iraq as it is.

Killing civilians overseas pisses them off too.
Problem with that idea though is that if they just let us rebuild the country we'd prolly be out of there by now. I know we'd probably have some remaining military, but it would be nothing substancial. By attacking usi the country all that they have managed to do is prolong our stay.

So why thehunt for WMD?
I believe the hunt for WMD is over as should the discussion over it be. If everyone keeps focusing solely on the WMD then this mess will never get fixed. Besides as I've said half a dozen times I think that WMDs were a horrible reason to invade.

My dislike for Boston is due to it being the liberal captial has nothing to do with football.

As for football I am a Buffalo fan. I feel bad for Drew Bledsoe since he is out of a job now with Buffalo. I don't hate the Pats they are a worthy team and deserved to win even tho I would of liked to see the Eagles win but the Eagles are not ready to win yet maybe next year. The Pats are an amazing team to be able to win with no real star player.

Only thing I like about Boston is that they beat the Yankees.

Compare how much Americans pay at the pumps with what the rest of the world pays, and you have half the reason for this war.It is politically unacceptable for any American government to raise the price of gas to that which is charged most everywhere else.Better to continue wasting it hand over fist and fighting other nations for their resources that to gather a decent revenue off it and pay some of your country's debts.
