93 Taurus-Replaced Water Pump-Car doesnt start
Hello. I replaced the water pump and the belt tensioner on my 93 Taurus that was originally overheating. I replaced the coolant but DID NOT burp the vehicle. I then drove about 12-14 miles with no problems and the car did not appear to overheat. The car sat overnight and this morning she started up just fine, I backed her out of the spot, put it in park to run back in the house, and when I came back and put her in drive she just stalled and would not start. She just kept turning over but would not start.
Any ideas......?? Paul~ |

What type of engine do you have?

3.0 not DOHC....
Also, when I got home from work, the car started right up and has run fine since (about 3 miles). However this obviously doesn't mean it won't do it again or solve the original problem.. |
