does dimmer relay affect my amp on honda

I have recently installed stero system in my 99 honda accord.
None of the amps. i hook up will work. everything like ground, power, rem, rca, speakers hook up correctly.
Cant get power to the amps. Under the hood in the fuse box, I noticed a fuse missing out of the slot marked "(dimmer) relay". I wasn't able to put a new fuse in it because the little clip that holds the fuse is missing. It looks as if it were punched out. DOES THIS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ME GETTING NO POWER TO MY AMP. THANK YOU.

If your amps don't power up then you have a problem with either your power wire, ground wire, or your REM wire. One of those is either disconnected some how or not wired properly. I doubt that the dimmer relay has anything to do with this.

i agree!! the problem is in one of those three wires. invest in a test light and see which on eis not getting power. if your radio turns on and eveerything still works then the dimmer fuse probably doesnt do nothin.plus the factory leave empty slots in the fuse box for spares or accesories that go in top of the line accord.

No the dimmer has nothing to do with the powering of ur amp, all it controls is the lights in the cluster thats it, nothing else. Make sure the remote wire is operating properly, and just make sure that ur ground wire is tightly securing on metal to metal surface.

make sure your ground wire is connected to the frame of the vehicle, make sure the red wire is connected to the red part on the batery and make sure you have it plugged into your head unit correctly. check the fuse that goes to your ciggerett lighter and radio. if it is 15 you might have a fuse that cant take the power the amp needs and replace it with a 30.
