1 SE 12" or 2, maybe 3 RE 12"

Ok, I have my heart set on a single SE 12" in a ported box, 2.5cuft, 32hz, and Now that I see the wonderful group buy price on soundillusions.com, Im wondering If i should just get 2 or 3 12" RE subs, in a sealed box?....Ok...I want some help here, they are just so damn cheap, and I read they are comparable to JL w3's, and I like the way those sound. Sooo.....I want some help deciding on this one. I want quality bass over quanity here....

Thanks

How big would a box for 3 RE 12" ported be?.....I can ony go about 13.5" deep, but i can go as wide as I want (say aobut 40-45" or so, have to pull ou the ole tape measure again) or basically as wide as the truck is...?

Re: 1 SE 12" or 2, maybe 3 RE 12"

Ok, now I got another question, what kind of amp should I run if I get the 3 12"...It says 175RMS, 250Max, and I have my pos Xplod 4ch amp. I assume I need to get a new amp. I can wire those 3 subs to run at 2.67ohms, will it hurt an amp to run at 2.67ohms, I wouldn't think so, but I figured I should ask. I am looking for something cheap (amp wise) here....

No, 2.67 ohms is pretty easy on most amps, unless its like a 2ch thats only stable to 4ohms bridged.

I'd get a mono amp from profle to power them..... something that gets 450-800 watts at 2 ohms.
