99 4Runner Water pump change...Is it simple?
Hello,
Just wondering how hard it is to change the waterpump on my V6 (3.4) engine with 71K. I noticed a small amount of Anti freeze at the bottom of the skid plate and a thin film on the lip of the oil pan right below the cranck pulley as I opened the hood. I checked the hoses and clamps and they seem Ok! Do I need to take the Timing belt off? Also, does the Radiator has to come off? Thanks in advance for your help! Regads |

Yes, you have to remove (and should replace) the timing belt - No, you don't have to remove the radiator.
It is a significant amount of work, but it is a matter of your abilities if you are able to do it or not. |
