Re: clutch is messed up????
Question... Is it the clutch pedel that gets too hard to push in??? or does the trans not want to shift, as in the gear shift will not pull into gear??? Later Mark

Re: clutch is messed up????
I might be having a similar problem with my truck. After having driven a while it seems when I come to a stop and put the truck into nuetral and then go to put it back into first, engaging the clutch all the way, it doesn't want to go into gear. Sometimes it doesn't want to get out of first gear either. If I wait with the clutch in it usually will then allow me to shift into or out of gear.
Any suggestions what the problem might be? I've had replaced a short time ago: Pressure Plate, Release Bearing, Pilot Bearing, Clutch Disc, Rebuilt Flywheel, Slave Cylinder, and Shift Rail Plugs. So I don't know what it is now. |

Re: clutch is messed up????
heatond, sounds like your pressure plate has a bad or broken spring in it, causing the clutch to stay partly inguaged. Hope this helps, Mark.
