96 Ram 2500 V-10 gas dies at stoplights

Our v-10 gas Ram 2500 will start fine but sometimes die going from park to drive and will die at stoplights. Runs great on the highway but will die sometimes when slowing down at lower speeds. Any ideas?

Sounds like the problem my '72 Gran Torino Sport has when the vacuum hose attached to the rear of the carb falls off. Good luck!! JM

gradywork--I tried responding to your pm but it's not enabled through AF. From what I've read, you just hook up the TPS, making sure the shaft is aligned properly with stuff in the throttle bore. There are several posts in here about doing the work on the '96 model, mostly the 5.9L but the 8.0 may be the same.
