Filling in the back
All of my interior behind the two front seats i ripped out to keep to many passengers out of my car. Now i'm looking for a light weight solution to cover up the emptiness. Theres no where to put my speakers in the back. Basically i'm looking for a flat surface with carpet to cover the whole back end. Any ideas or suggestions.

I have used 3/8" plywood. Its very light weight and strong enough to hold speakers. You can't bend it too much for curved areas but for the flat areas it works. You can cut it with a jigsaw easily. Then when you get all the parts you want made up just glue some cheap automotive carpet on it and it looks pretty good. You can get automotive carpet at Walmart I think.
Good luck

ply wood works pretty good. i did that fo my trunk , a little cutting and your set. just do not let it get wet , like if your hatch leaks....it will look something like a skate board ramp...lol
