Steering wheel feedback problem
when im driving my steering wheel will start wobbling back and forth and start to shake my car violently. What's the problem?

This violent shaking of the steering wheel is known as "death wobble".
It is caused by any or all of -- wear and play in the steering linkage, tire wear, suspension wear and play and a worn steering stabilizer. On your vehicle, I would look at the stabilizer first. It is a horizontal shock absorber connecting between the tie rod and the frame. If it has never been changed since new, maybe it is time. Sometimes this is a difficult to find the cause of this annoyance. Good luck.... JD |
