Duratech

Hey there, just had a question.
I'm trying to find the fuel regulator pressure valve so I can test the fuel pressure.

It's a v6 2.5l model.

I have a haynes manual, but the haynes manual says its covered by a blue plastic cap. The manual shows it to be by the resonator plenum cover, but thats only in the 4 cyl model... And the only valve I've seen (I believe) is for the air conditioning system.

Any help as to the location would be greatly appreciated.

I guarantee its posted on contour.org somewhere. If its not posted on there, you definetely wont find it on here. About the only thing Ive noticed on here is people post problems, and them people from CEG come over here and post the answers.

Anyways, here it is where it is. If you look at the lower intake manifold and where the pink rubber cap is, the fuel bleeder valve is located right next to it. It has a black cap, and youll have to unscrew it. Take like a small nail or something and poke it. Fuel should squirt out everywhere. Be sure your car is in accessory mode, so your fuel pump is on. The actual fuel pressure regulator is located right above the barcode.

EDIT: I literally ran a search over on contour.org and found this in 30 seconds. http://www.contour.org/ubbthreads/sh...rue#Post703850
