its seems that the vette would win in the 1/4, but im not sure about handling. But really, unless you got the dough, youre only gunna have one car. better make it an M3

The Vette is a better car, BMW has poor build quality, and they have mass produced the car so much that the engines aren't what they once were. The Vette actually sends a chill up your spine when you step in the gas where the BMW is all noise and fluff. You may own one and think you have the best car, but I have owned both and hate to break it to you that you were ripped off on the mom mobile. Think about it, the car is now marketed for women. Until BMW steps up and grabs their sack back and builds a car that performs and looks better than what the new M3 is going to look like, you all won't be talking about the underdog much longer.

There are a lot of things I don't like about the M3, but the dead last thing on my list would be poor build quality. And I'd hardly consider it a women's car either. It may seem very docile and gentrified on the surface, mostly due to the high curb weight and gaggle of electronic aids, but underneath all of that, it's a ferocious and soulful performance machine. That said, I'd take the Corvette. Luxury and driving experience are nice and all, but at the end of the day, the Corvette is still faster and cheaper.
