Hey,
Overhaulin...mmmmm...Lookin sweet so far. What no chip foose designed rims? lol. What is the 3 colors in there? Reminds me of an oompa loompa a bit. Keep up the great work and can't wait to see this finished. Frank X. |

When I'll get those colors separated with BMF, I'm sure it'll look better.

I think the spark plug wirers are a little to big and it looks like there are only 6? O well good job on it.

Re: Progress: Chevy Bel-Air 57 Custom
Its pretty cool IMO I would ahve used that purple on the roof as well. I'm also not so keen on the green battery. Its cool though and keep up the good work!

Spark plug wires might be too big. All 8 of them. But I only have that size. Other size is too small. There's no Radioshack in Finland.
![]() Using different colors is for more detailed look. About that coloring. This was a kind of experiment for me, how well i can mask the car. This was easy, because of those chrome trims. My next project will have two-tone painting. |

This is the AMT 1:25 "2 in 1" '57 Chevy kit isn't it? At least it looks familiar, I have built that in early 80's...
(and several other Classic Chevy models)

AMT 57 chevy hard top.
It comes with option for custom, stock and drag. Also blown 409 is included. Now it needs a new home.
