Whiney noise
I have a 94 Ls. I just installed an AEM Short ram intake. After installing it Idrove it for a while. I noticed that it was louder than stock(which I like), but I noticed it was having a whiney noise when i pushed on the gas. Is this normal or what could be the problem? I'm thinking that since I didn't remove the resonator, thats whats making the noise. I plan on removing it this weekend when I install my wheels, exhaust and header. Any help would be appreciated

Re: Whiney noise
the noise should just be the normal wistle that comes with an aftermarket intake and the overheating is probably not conected. check your coolant first then look for any leaks and check the fan and thermostat
