Running boards from '96 compatable w/ '97?

I have a '97 Trooper w/ manik nerf bars. The drivers side bar has rusted out. I know of a set of boards (I believe they are stock) for sale but they are from a '96, and do not include the mounting hardware. I'm pretty sure the '96 and '97 Troopers are the same, but I am not 100%. The second problem is will the stock boards work w/ the mounting hardware from the manik nerf bars. If not maybe it would be easiest to just buy new manik bars, but I do not want the same problem down the road, so maybe better to just get fiberglass boards? Are stock boards fiberglass? Where's the best place to get boards on-line? Please help, Thanks!
