2001 GC, loose radio antenna.

Hey everyone, my 2001 GC has a loose radio antenna at it's base. I see where I can tighten it with the passenger side door open but it's a tight squeeze. Is there a proper way to do this repair?

Thanks alot in advance,

Happy Jeep'ing

Jeep service manual shows some type of fancy socket wrench to tighten the nut on the base of antenna.
To remove/install antenna they say to remove wheel well skirt to gain entery into fender area.
