Air Bag Light

My air bag light sometimes is on and sometimes isnt.Has anyone had this prob and if so what did you do to fix it?

airbag light

Hey there i just bought a 2002 impala with the airbag light on. Got it checked out and need a new bcm as well as a airbad deployment thing. Not sure of the name of the second one but it is somthing deployment and just the part is 300 for that and the bcm is 190 my dealer is going to fix for 900 hope this helps

I had the BCM replaced and that didn't fix the prob. They tried to reprogram the bcm and couldn't because there is a problem with the airbag system. They wanted to 64.00 dollars an hr to look for the problem. I might look at the airbag deployment thing.

I have a '95 RoadMaster with the same problem! Has anyone solved this?
A dealer service manager said that it was probably a bad spring contact in the steering wheel!???
