i had an alarn that had a force field like thing and would go off even if the window was down and you just put ur arm in the window!!

You are referring to perimeter protection. They use radar waves to a preset circumference. I had one in my old Beretta and it was very useful. I currently have that as one of the options on my motorcycle. The perimeter is set up so that if anything comes within 1.5 feet of the bike, the alarm sends out a warning chirp and if it persists for more than 3 seconds the alarm is triggered and I receive a page.

any idea of what wrong here? Around my back right window, Its the trim around the window but hard hard plastic, thick... It discolored and rough the other side is smooth and has no discoloration.. any ideas of how to fix?

This thread is going all over the place. Next time try starting a new thread if you have a new problem.

With respect to your trim, its from sunfade. The trim on these trucks around the windows does not hold up well in direct sunlight and it worsens on those that have been waxed on a regular basis as it removes a small layer of the clear coat each time. You can try painting the trim, but my dealer said they usually end up replacing the trim.
