dumb theif messed up my HI-BEAM switch
So for about 3 weeks my 93 Jimmy S15 was sitting on the side of the road in near-ghetto Oakland, CA as I continually worked on replacing the CPI and many other things. The air intake plenum was in the back seat. Some dumbarse crackhead was dumb enough to break my window and try to hotwire the truck. maybe he just didn't look in the back seat and see part back there.
so i got my CPI fixed, window is next, but my highbeams are stuck on HIGH because the jerk cracked the plastic around my highbeam/blinker/wiper lever on the left of the wheel. can one even hotwire a jimmy from that spot? cany anyone give me a clue as to what piece of plastic i need to replace. i haven't had much luck finding a part online. next step is to the dealer but thought i'd try the wonderful forum here. - all the other functions of the lever work, blinkers, etc. people must just think i am a jerk w/ my highbeams on. |

For a '93, get it at the boneyard. Save yourself a lot of cash.
