Unhappy park avenue rough idle

replaced water pump by jacking up engine and loosening motor mount....removed coil assembly (3 modules, ea 2 cylinders) to make room for motor mount removal...returned coils to their position...engine started with slightly rough idle and missing when in gear/in load...check sparks at coil and cylinder 6 no spark?..checked other cylinders at coil and now engine worse.. only starts if accelerator half way down and then engine really rough...strange intermittent ticking sound now coming from fuel injectors/intake manifold when key in start position but engine not running..sounds like fuel inj/valves opening...worried ???..replace coils/controller/computer?????

Re: park avenue rough idle

have to checked your plug wires? if you hear ticking it looks like a spark is jumping somewhere..
swap the spark plugs wire with another one, if the problem goes to the cylinder you swapped the wire with you know its the wire.. and not the coil.. if the problem STAYS on number then its has something to do with the coil, and the spark plug.
