what next?

ok, i love my teg and i want it to remain a great quality car for me and i need you guys opinion on what to do next. i decided to stay N/A for now until i start seeing more money come my way. i already have intake and a full exhaust. it's lowered 1.5'', with springs and the shocks are just about gone. it takes me around 2 months to get around $1000 spending money on my car after all my other bills are paid.

i can't decide whether i should get some koni yellow shocks, camber kit and GC or skunk2 coilover and lower it to around 2.25" or get the toda spec B cams + valve springs and retainers, cam gears and AFC.

the suspension upgrade will cost around $900-1000 and the cams will be around $1600 with tuning. if it was your car what would YOU do with these two options. i know in the end it's my choice but i'd like to know your opinion on what you would do next if this was your car. i usually only take it to the track once or twice a year.

i appreciate any input...

Re: what next?

I'd say work on suspension first. If you only take it to the track once or twice a year, then ytou'd only use the performance to it's fullest potential once or twice a year. But if your car is a daily driver, then you'll be driving it and feeling the handling every day.

Re: what next?

I say go the cam route, I would use it to its max potential on the street even if i never got out of 2nd gear lol. not a day goes by that my GSR isnt seeing its upper powerband.

*EDIT* just make sure if you go this route to TUNE TUNE TUNE!!!!

*EDIT AGAIN* only problem with upgrading to those cams, you would more than likely need to up your compression ratio, and new pistons and labor involved would kick you outa your budget. just food for thought

Re: what next?

so for the most part you guys are saying go with the suspension first? i've been looking at some products and i think i'm going to stay with the koni yellows and get the neuspeed yellow sport springs... 2in in the front 1.75in in the back. i think if i stay with the neuspeed/koni brand it'll be a better ride quality.

as for the cams, i think i'll start saving for those in mid-late march and save for the toda spec B cams/cam gears/springs/retainers/afc/ and some CTR pistons. the CTR pistons are 12:1 i think... plz correct me if im wrong. with that set up with tuning of coarse, how much HP you think i'll see?
