not the greatest gas mileage

I get 23 MPG on my 2000 alero standard 5 speed with 2.4 twin cam.

is that bad? should I be concerened? I Jut bought it second hand from the GM dealer. Its under warrenty for 10 000 kms. It seems to me that many of you are getting better milage out of your 6 cylinder automatics.

Someone help?
