Projector Headlights/Xenon 8000K Lights

Has anyone installed aftermarket Projector Headlights and/or REAL XENON H.I.D. conversion kits (8000K)?

hey

hey there, can you tell me more about them? I bought the hid and they came in but i am waiting for the projector headlights. Did your projector melt at all if you did get the projector? If no did you use the OEM headlights or Euro Headlights? Do you have any pics? Thanks

For one, 8000K HID sucks, the only K you should get is 4100 or 4300. As the Kelvin goes up, the output goes down. Second off, any projector you buy aftermarket is probably going to take an H3 bulb, and perform like absolute crap. I personally had a kit in a Euro Reflector. The output was horrible, because Halogen relfectors take terribly to HID, and the glare was also horrible. The only route to go it to retrofit some OEM projectors from a car that has HID Projectors OEM, into a euro headlight housing. Not to mention, running HID's off of a stock OEM wiring harness is terrible and will most likely fry it.
