rear lift

what would be the best way to lift the rear of a 89 s-10 4x4. I i cant use blocks beacuse the damn axil is on top of the leaf springs what about a shackle lift? can I get something like that at napa and will it eat the crap out of my u joints? Oh yeah I just want to bring it up about 2-3in any help would be great

Re: rear lift

Shackles suck because they tend to move forward bringing you back to where you started. You can get lift blocks, but your best bet is get new springs, then get ADD-A-LEAF's from summit..You'll get close to 3 inches
