Re: Got my new rear today! YAY

Mine has them all the way to back. I thought that was part of the offroad package. I've heard that the ones with the off road package are one wheel peel.

Re: Got my new rear today! YAY

I have been searching many sites....and what I heard is wrong. Mine does have the offroad package and G80 is a locking diff. So that means that the offroad package doesn't automatically mean you have one wheel peel.

Re: Got my new rear today! YAY

No, read the thread... You have to have the G80 rpo code to have posi... Posi was an option on the s10/blazers/jimmy's/sonoma'a and was standard on the Bravada and the ZR2. (Zr2 also uses 8" rear that's 3" wider)

That's a sweet upgrade! Posi and disc brakes -- do you figure that you'll gain some stopping power by replacing the drums w/discs?

I tried to see what my RPO's were and it said unknown on all but two. How do I find out what the rest are? Thanks in advance.

They allow three letters/numbers in each box so that is what I did. Do some of them only require two? I would like to know whaat I did wrong so I can go back and do it right.

Re: Got my new rear today! YAY

each rpo code is three digits, you enter one code per box. your codes are on the sticker in the glovebox

Re: Got my new rear today! YAY

GT* codes also show your ratio. My 02 4X4 blazer has,

G80 Axle Positraction Limited ,Slip and
GT4 Axle Rear 3.73 Ratio (Dup with 5X1)

Does anyone know what (Dup with 5X1) means?
