Front End Swap for 84 CRX

Hey, I am new here, and am looking for information on a front end swap for my 84 crx show car. i know the 2nd gen doesnt swap across.... but i swear i saw a first gen with a civic front end from the late 80's or early 90's. im just looking for something with some aftermarket capabilities.
i am a collision repair student, so i can work it if i had the ambition

Re: Front End Swap for 84 CRX

umm...do you have any motor mods? ? ?If you dont, then i wouldnt worry about mods on the outside first.i would think about keepin the outside stock, , ,becuz i have a 84 civic hatch, and i know that if i pulled up to a newer civic or eclipse without anybody mods, but had like a zc or d16,they wouldnt think twice.then youll kik there ass.haha.but thats just me.if i were you,i would go to a junkyard or something like that, and look for a 84 civic front bumber.if you look at my pics.ill have some up soon.youll see what they look like.but good luck.= )
