grand prix and grand am steering wheel remotes

I've been looking for a while and I've havent had to much luck finding gp or ga with the steering wheel remotes at the price I want to spend for the car. To make it worse on a GA, I need to get the GT1 package with increases my insurance a couple hundred dollars (bad neighborhood). Is it possible for me to buy a SE model of either car and swap the wheel for a wheel with those remotes? How much of a pain in the neck would it be? The reason why I want them is because I bought soundgate on ebay for really cheap and it will make those wheel remotes work with my pioneer radio.

thx

wait, you have a system can cant find a car with the steering wheel controls or you have a system and want to make it work with steering wheel controls, the "PAC SWI-X Steering Wheel Controls Interface" from 3800performance.com can help you with the second situation, but i dont know about the first

no, I'm wondering if I buy a SE model of a GA or GP, will I be able to change the stock steering wheel, with a steering wheel that has the remote controls on it. I'm wondering if the SE model have the wiring harness to connect the remote control to and if it would be a pain in the neck to do. I rather have a GT1, but insurance for me is insane on these models.

thx
