Got to play Resident Evil 4.

yeah, i had to buy a preowned version of the remake. i got no box, no instructions.

so did anyone else go out and pick this one up? i played it for a good 4-5 hours the first night. the game is better than i had expected. i actualy already beat it, but not because it's too short or easy, it's cuz i have obsessive complusive issues when it comes to playing Resident Evil games , i put in 20 hours in 3-4 sittings and beat it.
even if you didn't like the other RE games or liked 'em just a little i think most people can really appreciate how awesome this game is. Sick graphics, awesome FMV's, eerie soundtrack, lots of weapons and customization and lots of gore.
If you know RE then you know how when the main character dies they give you a little fatality kinda thing where your head gets chopped off or you get impaled or something, this game has some of the goriest nastiest scenes in it, some bug spit acid in my face and they show you a nice close-up of the inside of your characters face after his skin gets eaten away. it's nuts. I rank it up with GTA:SA, and Halo as far as how much fun it was to play.

I want to play RE4 so bad, but unfortunatly I have the only console that the game won't come out for: Xbox! Capcom really gets me angry with not supporting the Xbox. They say it is because the games they released on the Xbox didn't sell well, but they didn't sell well because they only released crappy games. Resident Evil 4 would sell just as good on Xbox as either of the other consoles.

IMO, RE-0, the remake of #1, and part 4 are worth buying a gc to play.

You're best off just playing them, honestly. I'm sure someone could tell you the story, but it wouldn't be as good as it could if you would just play the games. Number 2 is pretty easy, and 1 isn't bad either. 3 was a pain in the ass for me, but that's just me.

Just take a good long weekend (or week if you've got nothing else to do) and rent 1-3 and play em. They're worth it.

he's right. the whole exciting part of the game is you have no idea what's going on, it's how it's supposed to be. what can be said is that it's 6 years after part 2, you're Leon Kennedy(the dude from part 2) and you're looking for the presidents daughter who's been kidnapped. while there, you get attacked by some guy and he reminds you of the zombies from the other RE's, but he's not one, and from there the story expands.

All I know is that when this game comes out on PS2 I am buying it. No questions asked.

RE4 looks awesome, IGN gave it a pretty high rating too.. can't wait to get back to work in the summer, then I can finally afford games again. The new Zelda thats coming out for gamecube looks AMAZING.... Wind Waker was a great game too.

I cant wait for it to come out on the ps2. Ive beaten all the storyline RE games so far. My favorites are 2 and Code Veronica.

Yah I know everything about resident evil, its just Ive only owned a ps1,ps2,n64 so I cant get this game to find out what happen to umbrella.
