Brake lights won't turn off

Got to work this morning and noticed that the brake lights won't turn off. I fiddled & pumped th ebrakes a bnch of times, turned th ecar on and off, drove it for a bit and braked, but the lights still stay on. Any suggestions? I know I can just unplug the battery for the day, but I'd rather have an easier option. Thanks.

Have you checked the fluid level?

No - I don't even know where to look. If that is the most likely problem, should I just take it to a garage immediately?

Nice guy in garage next door ordered brake switch for $12. Per usual, as soon as I got it to his garage, the problem went away. Ordered the switch just to be safe.

Thanks for the reply.
