1997 wiper washer motor
Hello. I have a 1997 Taurus and the window washer motor sprays with the power of a drool! Since the process activates the wiper for a pre-set number of wipes, it makes the vision very poor, especially at night. Is this an easy fix? I'm in New England and wiper washer functionality is a nessessity this time of the year.
Thanks. |

Probably clogged nozzles...I would reccommend Ford Special Tool number 56416541165465...a paperclip. Try poking down the nozzles to see if you can dislodge whatever's blocking them. If this does not work, disconnect the hose from the nozzles under the hood and see how it sprays without the nozzles, if it sprays good, replace the nozzles and if it doesn't, replace the pump. Good luck with it.
