98 civic ex vs 97 accord ex

i have a 98 ex with short ram intake/after market muffler/lowered.

my buddy has 97 accord ex with cold air intake, i know my stock hp is 127 and his is 145hp and my civic weighs 600lbs less.

We raced this weekend and smoked me by a couple car lengths, what can i do besides turbo to beat his accord?

Let some of the air out of his tires, you'll smoke 'em.

werd^^^

buy a nitrous kit for $500. Should be safe aslong as you aren't laying into the nitrous every time you go out.

yea nitrous is the quickest, cheapest and best bang for ur buck. i would say on your car u could run a 50-75 shot.

Nitrous is the best bet for the money but not exactly practical. A header would be your next best bet seeing as you already have the intake and exhaust.
