96 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited

I've got a 96 JGCL I've had problems this last 6 months with it just cutting out. The computer gave a crank shaft pos error...it was replaced. 2nd time it happened we replaced the camshaft and cam sensor..3rd time the battery. This time we again got a crankshaft error but, we also can't get it to cut out again. Also the battery was dead (ok ok this could be from my calling the car bad names and trying to get it to start) The Alt was checked and it was fine running and resting, as was the battery after a slow charge was put on it. I'm about at my wits end...I love the car but when it stops it just STOPS about got my fanny rear ended this time and it's not safe. Any ideas?

Thanks
